Summary

AIcv is a client-side application. We do not operate a backend that receives your CV, job descriptions, or API keys. All processing happens locally in your browser.

What stays on your device

• API keys (encrypted in localStorage)
• Master CV text and parsed data
• Application records, notes, and status tracking
• User preferences (theme, language, output format)

What leaves your device

• AI requests go directly from your browser to the provider you choose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) — AIcv never handles these calls directly
• Optional Google Drive sync sends documents to your own Google account when you explicitly sign in and authorize it

Application zone (/app)

The application at /app contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts of any kind. This is by design and will not change.

Public website

This marketing site (outside of /app) may later include non-personalized, contextual analytics or advertising with your consent. The application zone will remain tracker-free at all times.

Data retention

All your data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB. You can clear it at any time via Settings → Clear all local data. No data is stored on our servers because we don't have any.
